Serre Chevalier: The largest ski area in the Southern Alps
Serre Chevalier is one of the largest ski areas in France. The Grand Serre Che counts 250km of ski slopes with 68 ski lifts, 23% of the resort has the possibility of artificial snow cover.
Serre Chevalier has been a well-known ski resort since 1941 when the Chantemerle telepherique 1350 was constructed.

The highest peak in the ski area of Serre Chevalier is the «Pic de L'Yret» at 2850m, which guarantees quality snow cover until the end of the ski season. Situated in the Southern Alpes, Serre Chevalier benefits from an exceptional amount of sunshine, with over 300 days of sun per year !
